Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1986, Eduardo Kissajikian is a Production Designer and cinematographer working across feature films, short films, advertising and other audiovisual projects.

His career began with photography after studying at Centro Universitário Maria Antônia/USP in 2007. From 2009 onwards, he developed his own photographic work while documenting performances by visual artist Guilherme Peters. This early relationship with photography gradually led him into filmmaking, where he began working as a cinematographer on short films and independent projects.

​

In 2013, Eduardo joined the art department at Coyote Produções, working closely with Production Designers Pedro “Bolo” Catellani and Luisa Doria. Starting as an art producer and assistant, he developed experience in production design and set design across advertising, film, television and digital content. By 2016, he had established himself as a Production Designer, developing the visual concepts and environments for films, commercials and music videos.

That same year, he completed the first Cinematography course at AIC – Academia Internacional de Cinema, coordinated by cinematographer Lúcio Kodato, ABC. His background in cinematography continues to strongly inform his approach to Production Design, particularly in the relationship between space, color, texture, light and the overall visual language of a film.

His Production Design work includes the Raindance Film Festival opening film Discover be Discovered – Steven Spielberg Tribute (2016), Children of the Cosmos (2017), Dead Teenager Séance (2018), A Placa de Rubi – A Chibatada Final (2019), the feature film Velha Roupa Colorida (2021), Boom Girl (2025) and Last Day (2026).

More recently, Eduardo served as Production Designer on I Have a Bomb (2026), directed by Chris Tex, a Brazil–US feature film developed by Ryland Tews, creator of Hundreds of Beavers. He is currently working on the Production Design of Despejo, a feature film directed by Dante Vescio.

Alongside his work in Production Design, Eduardo continues to develop projects as a cinematographer. His credits include Crack & Minori (2014), Sans Cullote (2015), Long Bueno (2017), Future Brilliant (2023) and Concreto em Movimento (2025), with works screened and selected at festivals in Brazil and internationally.

Eduardo has been a member of the Production Designers Collective since 2023.
